CranioSacral Therapy (CST) is a light-touch, manual therapy that releases tensions, as well as restrictions deep in the body to relieve pain and dysfunction and improve overall health. CST was developed by Osteopathic Physician, John E. Upledger after extensive clinical research at Michigan State University.
By facilitating the body's natural and innate healing processes, CST is increasingly used as a preventive health measure for its ability to bolster resistance to disease, and has been shown to be beneficial for people seeking help with a wide range of healthcare challenges and symptoms including:

Visceral Manipulation is organ-specific fascial mobilization and is based on the premise that free movement within the body is vital, and thus any restriction will adversely affect health. It evaluates and treats the dynamics of motion and suspension in relation to organs, membranes, fascia, and ligaments. Visceral Manipulation relies on the palpation of normal and abnormal forces within the body, with the specific goal of encouraging normal tone and movements, both within and between the internal organs, their connective tissue, and other structures of the body where normal motion has been impaired. By using precise manual techniques, such as palpation of the superficial and deep fascia and the mobility and motility of individual organs, therapists can evaluate how abnormal forces interplay, overlap, and affect the normal body forces at work. The goal of Visceral Manipulation is to help the person's body return to normal function and thereby remove compensatory symptoms, whatever their source, leading to improved health and optimal body functioning. Manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) is a gentle, non-invasive massage technique that stimulates the lymphatic system to promote the removal of excess fluid and waste products from the body. This therapy is performed by a trained therapist who uses rhythmic, light pressure and specific hand movements to move lymphatic fluid through the body's lymphatic vessels.
The lymphatic system plays a crucial role in maintaining the body's immune function and fluid balance. When the lymphatic system is compromised, excess fluid and waste can accumulate in the tissues, leading to swelling, inflammation, and a weakened immune system.
MLD has been shown to have numerous benefits, including:
Reducing swelling and edema: By stimulating the lymphatic system, MLD can help reduce swelling and edema in the body, particularly in the arms, legs, and face.
Boosting immune function: By improving lymphatic circulation, MLD can help boost the body's immune function, making it better able to fight off infections and disease.
Relieving pain and tension: MLD can help alleviate pain and tension in the body, particularly in areas affected by lymphedema or other conditions that cause fluid retention.
Promoting relaxation: MLD is a gentle, soothing therapy that can help promote relaxation and reduce stress.
MLD is often used to treat conditions such as lymphedema, post-surgical swelling, and fibromyalgia, as well as to support overall wellness and immune function.
