Pelvic floor therapy is a specialized therapy completed by a rehab professional with extensive training in the pelvic floor, core anatomy & physiology.  Pelvic floor therapy involves muscle strengthening, relaxation and coordination to help treat pelvic floor muscle tightness or weakness & associated problems that result.  Pelvic floor therapy combines physical & psychosocial techniques in order to address the body, brain and cultural components of pelvic floor dysfunction and symptoms.

Treatment for pelvic health conditions include a full body approach to evaluation and treatment. This consists of evaluation and treatment of postural alignment, pelvic alignment, walking patterns, standing/sitting posture, muscular tone and strength in abdomen/hips/low back, visceral assessment/mobilizations, manual therapy techniques, external palpation, internal examinations (when necessary), and psychosocial modalities such as CBT, mindfulness, relaxation and yoga.

I started seeing Bri in October for help with painful endometriosis symptoms. After that first session, I left with a new sense of hope that I had never felt before. Within a month, I noticed real progress and pain relief that only kept getting better! Bri has a natural gift of making you feel 100% comfortable from the start, and I was so grateful to finally have someone care about getting to the root cause of the problem. She is extremely knowledgeable and does an excellent job at explaining what she is doing and why. She is also very versatile with her treatments depending on what you may need most that session. I really felt seen and understood and will recommend her to anyone who may benefit from pelvic health and/or occupational therapy services. Just three months later, I am pain free and beyond grateful for Bri!
